Following a treacherous ferry ride to Hvar we were ready to turn around and go back to Split. From the moment we arrived at Hotel Fortuna - we instantly felt like we were at home. Magda and her family are the most beautiful, generous and caring family we ever met and their generousity saved our Hvar experience. The hotel is right on the beach and the food at their restaurant downstairs is amazing. The rooms are bigger than what I thought, and the facilities are modern. By the end of our stay we wanted to stay longer and were sad to leave such an awesome family, but we will be back!

Location short walk to a restaurant with varied menu and delicious dishes in a quiet beach, the centre of Hvar, and the beach in a quiet village. Good hot and large breakfast, plenty of food and beverages. Incredible service, absolutely excellent staff...

We loved this place. We only stayed one night but wished we had spent a week here. The service is incredible - it's family run and it has the 'extra mile' culture that you would only expect from hotels at twice the price. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. Wifi in room too. The beach is right opposite the hotel about 30 seconds walk. Very generous and delicious breakfast too.
Unless you have a car this is probably not the place to stay if you want to experience the buzz / nightlife of Hvar Town as it's too far to walk and bus/taxi options aren't great. We had a car so it wasn't a problem.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff, mostly one family, were all very gracious and helpful. The hotel is right on the beach and the children enjoyed this immensely. Breakfast was very nice, with eggs made to order. We ate dinner at the hotel twice, and both meals were delicious. I highly recommend the ocotpus, you must order it 3 hours in advance. Great place for a relaxing stay.

Staying just outside the bustling town provided a peaceful retreat with perfect sea views from our spacious balcony. The breakfasts, particularly with good Chinese dishes, were a highlight of each morning. A few amenities could use improvement, such as a more efficient check-in process and increased variety in the breakfast options. Despite these minor drawbacks, the warm hospitality from the dedicated family-run staff was great.

Hotel Fortuna is very well located just next to the beach in small village Milna on Hvar. We had a nice room on 4th floor with fantastic view of the sea and the beach. The room was really huge, with fresh renovation, very cosy and comfortable. The owners very friendly, they also have a restaurant with dicent food. Overall I would recommend this hotel for a short break at the seaside if you want relax and enjoy sea & sun. Also very close to Hvar town.
The only drawback was that the elevator didn't work, but they are fixing it right now.

The hotel is lovely, small family run. It is scrupulously clean and well maintained, the staff are genuine and friendly and can't do enough to help. Breakfast is great by the beach and the restaurant is excellent and good value. The rooms are modern and well equipped with nice bathrooms. Only a 5 minute drive from Hvar town, we cannot recommend it highly enough!
The rooms do not have a safe, but this is a monor quibble in an otherwise excellent hotel.

A peaceful getaway with excellent family vibes
The staff upgraded our room to a spacious one with a full sea view, a lovely surprise. We enjoyed swimming in the beautiful swimming pool and had easy access to some amazing family-friendly restaurants nearby. I wish breakfast had a bit more variety, but overall, it was a good experience!

The hotel is family run and they were so friendly and hospitable. We were initially concerned about staying 4pm out of Hvar town but the family offered to drive us back and forth to town when we wanted to go which wasn't that often as we found the location in Milna so relaxing, we didn't want to leave! The hotel food was excellent too and great value for money. Would definitely return!
